Civilization created glass thousands of years ago,  and yet we are still  fascinated by the substance. The simple raw materials and  the skill of craftmanship result in a wonderful material with extreme variety and unending forms and colors.

  In   artistic glass blowing three different types of glass are used:

Soda glass, prepared from  sand and soda (mostly used for Venetian glass)
Potassium glass, prepaired from sand and ash of plants like fern (often used by the Czech glassblowers)
lead glass, produced from sand and lead-oxide (used by the Scandinavian blowers and often very heavy)

    We specialize in the glass of the twentieth century

• from Italy,  the Murano art glass from 1920 to 1970
• from Venini, the newly designed art glass from 1970 to 2005
• from Sweden, mainly Kosta and Orrefors art glass from 1935 to 1965
• from Finland, the art glass from 1940 to 1970
